JOB DESCRIPTION
A Fiber Splicer is responsible for terminating and testing aerial and underground fiber optic systems, updating and maintaining project tracking information such as production sheets, time sheets and customer required paperwork. Additional responsibilities include performing all aspects of the project in accordance to EIA/TIA standards and applicable building codes. The Fiber Splicer will be responsible for prepping and splicing fiber optic cable. Familiar with fiber optic splice closures, OTDR testing, Optical power meter and Fiber Identifier.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
-
Customer Service – Interaction with project owners, engineers and coordinating with customers and engineers for scope changes and communicating those changes to the Project Manager.

Fiber Splicing Skills – Preparing various types of outside plant fiber optic cables for splicing, operate fiber optic test equipment, reading and understanding the test results for troubleshooting purposes.

TRAVEL

Travel from home with multiple overnight stays is required with this position. This position is primarily located in the Woodward OK area, but candidates must be willing to accept assignments in other parts of the country.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Aerial Ground Crew

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB DESCRIPTION
A lineman ground hand is responsible for supporting the aerial lineman and foreman for a given crew.
​
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Must present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients in all interactions.
Must have strong communication skills and experience working with customers.
Must have a strong working knowledge of basic hand tools including a powered drill.
Have problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet.
Have a general working knowledge of computers.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Certificate
Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.
Must be able to carry 60-70 1bs, to include an extension ladder.
Must be able to work at 28 feet or higher.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout work shift

Aerial Fiber Optic Lineman
North and South Carolinas
QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be 21 or older
· Have a good driving record
· Able to pass Background and Drug screening
· Able to obtain DOT Medical Certification

JOB DESCRIPTION
A successful Aerial Line Person (Aerial Construction Lineman) shall access specific areas to install, maintain, and/or repair a customer's telecommunications equipment. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each; ability to use cable placement equipment... and tools; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
​
KEY REQUIREMENTS
-
Work safely, with or without supervision
Work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods
Lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment
Work aloft, either from a ladder, aerial lift device, or by gaffing
Excellent manual dexterity
Operate equipment, including, but not limited to an aerial lift device, lasher, and hand tools.
